Zu Beginn der Woche sorgte der FDP-Parteivorsitzende Christian Lindner für beträchtliche mediale Aufmerksamkeit, als ein Bild bekannt wurde, auf dem er vor dem Berliner Restaurant Borchardt zu sehen war, wie er – den Mundschutz lässig um den Hals gehängt – den weißrussischen Honorarkonsul Steffen Göpel umarmte. Es dauerte nicht lange, bis sich Lindner via Twitter entschuldigte und darauf hinwies, dass auch er „nur ein Mensch“ sei.
