Neuerscheinung: „Erzählte Politik“
„Narrative sind mehr als nur ein Buzzword. Sie bieten uns eine neue Perspektive auf politische Sprache und helfen uns, die Komplexität alltäglicher Sinngebungsprozesse zu dechiffrieren. Denn wenn wir über Politik sprechen, dann nutzen wir den Modus des Erzählens. Wir suchen Metaphern, die uns helfen, Politik abzubilden. Wir erzählen Figuren und schreiben ihnen eine Rolle zu und wir konfigurieren Zeitlichkeit, indem wir Anfang, Mitte und Ende unserer Geschichten setzen.“
Mit diesen Worten wird auf der Webseite des Springer-VS-Verlages ein neues Buch mit dem Titel „Erzählte Politik“ beschrieben. Im Mittelpunkt stehen dabei Narrative in Bundestagswahlkämpfen, insbesondere des Jahres 2013. Neben einer Verortung im politikwissenchaftlichen Diskurs werden Methodologie und Methodik des Themas sowie die drei Kernelemente einer Narrativanalyse berücksichtigt. Das Buch wird in Kürze über unsere Fachbereichsbibliothek verfügbar sein.
