Happy birthday, BAföG!
Vor ziemlich genau 50 Jahren, nämlich am 1. September 1971, trat das Bundesausbildungsförderungsgesetz (BAföG) in Kraft. Seitdem erleichtern die Zahlungen nach diesem Gesetz vielen jungen Menschen das Studium (oder die Schule). Allein im vergangenen Jahr wurden 466.000 Studierende gefördert, durchschnittlich 574 Euro erhielt bzw. erhält aktuell jede/r geförderte Studierende (detaillierte Zahlen sind hier abrufbar).
