Podiumsdiskussion: „Schulalltag zwischen Fake News und Desinformation“
Die Medienlandschaft hat sich in den vergangenen Jahrzehnten in Folge der Digitalisierung stark verändert. Soziale Netzwerke sind für viele Menschen mittlerweile eine Hauptinformationsquelle geworden. Doch wie verlässlich sind diese Informationen? Was ist Nachricht, was Meinung und was Propaganda? Kurzum: Was ist eigentlich Fakt und was Fake? Die Notwendigkeit des Erwerbs von politischer Medien- und Nachrichtenkompetenz im Rahmen schulischer Bildung wurde in den letzten Jahren immer wieder verstärkt thematisiert und eingefordert. Medien leisten einen wesentlichen Beitrag zur politischen Meinungsbildung der Bürgerinnen und Bürger. Begriffe wie „Lügenpresse“ und „Fake News“ haben hingegen das Vertrauen in die Medien geschwächt. Wie geht die Schule mit dieser Entwicklung um? Sind Lehrerinnen und Lehrer ausreichend ausgebildet und können regulierend eingreifen? Welche Hilfsmittel stehen Ihnen dabei zur Verfügung und welche sollte die Politik zukünftig bereitstellen?
Über diese Fragen diskutieren am 8. Oktober 2022 um 16:30h im Café Koffij in Halle (Saale) in der Leipziger Straße 70 unter der Überschrift „Die gut informierte Schule: Schulalltag zwischen Fake News und Desinformation“:
- Frank Diesener, Staatssekretär im Ministerium für Bildung des Landes Sachsen-Anhalt;
- Katharina Nocun, Autorin und Bloggerin;
- Paula Friedrich, Medienpädagogische Beraterin und Lehrerin in Sachsen-Anhalt;
- Olaf Schütte, Geschäftsführer von fjp media (Verband der jungen Medienmacher in Sachsen-Anhalt); sowie
- Moritz Eichelmann, Schüler und Vorsitzender des Landesschulrats.
Die Veranstaltung richtet sich an Lehrerinnen und Lehrer, Pädagogen und die interessierte Öffentlichkeit. Die Podiumsdiskussion wird von Marcel Roth moderiert und für die Podcastreihe „Digital leben“ des Mitteldeutschen Rundfunks aufgezeichnet. Eine Anmeldung wird bis 7. Oktober an diana.doerks@sachsen-anhalt.de erbeten. Der Eintritt ist frei.
