Jedes Jahr erscheinen Bücher von aktuellen oder früheren Politikerinnen und Politikern, Zeitungen wie die Süddeutsche (SZ) oder die Frankfurter Allgemeine (FAZ) besprechen sie in ihren Blättern regelmäßig. Aber was steht eigentlich in diesen Büchern? Und sind sie lesenswert? Robert Probst hat für die heutige Ausgabe der SZ eine ganze Reihe davon gelesen und stellt einige Highlights aus den vergangenen Jahren vor, aufgeteilt in „Die Programmatiker“, „Die Unruheständler“, „Die Aktivisten“, „Die Bestseller“ und „Die Ruheständler“.
