Berliner Landeswahlleiter Stephan Bröchler im Porträt
In der heutigen Ausgabe der ZEIT findet sich ein ausführliches Porträt des aktuellen Berliner Landeswahlleiters Prof. Stephan Bröchler. Er füllt im Nebenjob eine undankbare Aufgabe aus, muss er doch dafür sorgen, dass die Wiederholung der Wahlen zum Abgeordnetenhaus sowie zu den Bezirksverordnetenversammlungen am 12. Februar 2023 korrekt ablaufen. Im Hauptberuf ist Bröchler Politikwissenschaftler an der Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Recht in Berlin. Und viele Studierende an unserem Institut werden ihn noch aus der Zeit kennen, in der er für zwei Semester den Lehrstuhl Regierungslehre und Policyforschung vertreten hat. Eigentlich befindet sich Bröchler momentan in einem Forschungsfreisemester, in dem er einen Band mit dem Titel „Regieren in Berlin“ fertigstellen wollte. Dieses Werk muss zunächst warten, erst einmal muss die Berliner Wahl reibungslos über die Bühne gehen.
