Beim heutigen Foto des Tages fällt der Blick vom Verbindungssteg zwischen zwei Gebäuden des Deutschen Bundestages, des Paul-Löbe-Hauses (in dem unter anderem die Ausschusssäle untergebracht sind) und des Marie-Elisabeth-Lüders-Hauses (das unter anderem die Parlamentsbibliothek und die Wissenschaftliche Dienste des Bundestages beherbergt) auf die Spree im Berliner Regierungsviertel. Rechter Hand ist das Haus der Bundespressekonferenz zu sehen, in der Mitte der Neubau des Bundesbildungsministeriums, links finden sich die Büros von PriceWaterhouseCoopers. Links vorne ist die Bundestags-Kita angesiedelt. Benannt ist der Steg (im Volksmund auch die „höhere Beamtenlaufbahn“ genannt, da es sich um den oberen der beiden Verbindungsstege handelt) nach dem fiktiven Abgeordneten Jakob Mierscheid, über den hier auf unseren Seiten bereits berichtet wurde (und zwar hier, hier und hier).
