Eva Menasse: „Alles und nichts sagen“
In dieser Woche ist der Essayband „Alles und nichts sagen“ der österreichischen Schriftstellerin Eva Menasse erschienen. Bekannt wurde sie durch Romane wie „Vienna“, „Quasikristalle“ oder „Dunkelblum“. Aber auch als Kommentatorin aktueller Trends und Entwicklungen hat sich Menasse als Publizistin und Autorin einen Namen gemacht. Zuletzt wurde sie im Oktober 2023 im SZ-Magazin porträtiert. In ihrem neuen Band beleuchtet Menasse die Konsequenzen der Digitalisierung für die große Politik und und den konkreten Alltag gleichermaßen, insbesondere die Frage, inwieweit die Umgangsformen in den sozialen Medien als „Stresstest für die freie Gesellschaft“ das gesamtgesellschaftliche Miteinander verändert haben.
