Karamba Diaby MdB zu Gast im Seminar
Alle Jahre wieder kommt der Hallesche Bundestagsabgeordnete Dr. Karamba Diaby in unsere Lehrveranstaltungen am Institut für Politikwissenschaft der Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg, um über seinen Alltag im Parlament, seine Arbeit in Halle und Berlin sowie aktuelle politische Themen (und an denen mangelt es aktuell nicht!) zu sprechen. Herr Diaby vertritt den Wahlkreis Halle (Saale) und Umgebung seit 2013 im Bundestag und konnte den Wahlkreis bei der vergangenen Bundestagswahl erstmals direkt gewinnen. Im Parlament gehört er dem Auswärtigen Ausschuss an und befasst sich darüber hinaus mit Fragen der internationalen Gesundheitsversorgung sowie mit Klimafragen. Ein besonderes Thema im Gespräch mit unseren Studierenden war der Umgang mit Hass und Hetze gegenüber politischen Akteuren, erst am gestrigen Tage ist Diabys Bürgerbüro einem Brandanschlag folgend wiedereröffnet worden.
