Anlässlich der jüngsten Bundestagsdebatten im Dezember 2023 richtet Boris Herrmann in der heutigen Ausgabe der Süddeutschen Zeitung seinen Blick auf Zwischenrufe, Pöbeleien sowie Ordnungsrufe in der Geschichte des Deutschen Bundestages. Klar wird: kontrovers diskutiert wurde schon immer, auch wenn sich die konkrete Wortwahl und die Gründe für Ordnungsrufe geändert haben mögen. Und Herrmann erläutert auch, welche Rolle „Klempnern, Nilpferden und Löffelfressern“ im Laufe der Jahrzehnte im Rahmen der parlamentarischen Debatten zugekommen ist. Sein Fazit: „Die Geschichte des Bundestags ist mithin auch eine Kulturgeschichte des unkonventionellen Pöbelns“.
