Neu in der Bibliothek: das „Handbuch Politik USA“
Rechtzeitig zum neuen Sommersemester ist in unserer Fachbereichsbibliothek als Print- und elektronische Ausgabe das von Christian Lammert, Markus B. Siewert und Boris Vormann herausgegebene „Handbuch Politik USA“ eingetroffen. Auf der Internetseite des Verlages heißt es zu diesem Werk: „Das Handbuch Politik USA vereint Aufsätze ausgewiesener Expertinnen und Experten der sozialwissenschaftlichen USA-Forschung. Die Beiträge des Handbuchs setzen sich mit den grundlegenden Strukturen und Mechanismen der US-amerikanischen Politik auseinander. Diese werden zum einen in ihrem (zeit)historischen Kontext verortet, zum anderen werden unterschiedliche Deutungsdimensionen aufgezeigt und somit eine problemorientierte Einführung in das politische System der USA geleistet.“ Das Inhaltsverzeichnis kann hier eingesehen werden.
