Die Lage der Nation – aus Obamas Sicht
In der vergangenen Nacht hat US-Präsident Barack Obama seine alljährliche Rede zur Lage der Nation vor den beiden Kammern des Kongresses gehalten.

In der TAZ ist heute neben einer Analyse der Rede eine Übersicht von Obamas Lieblingswörtern zu finden, die er in der Rede zur Lage der Nation gebraucht hat und welche mit der Kongress-Rede vom Februar 2009 verglichen werden.
Die Wörter „Jobs“ und „Steuern“ gebrauchte Obama jeweils ganze 29 Mal (2009 nur jeweils 16 Mal), die „Mittelklasse“ erwähnte er immerhin fünf Mal (2009: 1 Mal). Der Begriff „Gesundheit(-sreform)“ fiel nur 13 Mal (2009: 21 Mal). Interessant auch das Wort „Lobby“: Zu Beginn seiner Amtszeit gebrauchte er es kein einziges Mal, in der aktuellen Rede 7 Mal.
