TV-Tipp: Die SPIEGEL-Affäre
Im Jahre 1962 kam es in der Bundesrepublik zur inzwischen legendären SPIEGEL-Affäre, in der das Magazin über die bedingte Einsatzbereitschaft der Bundeswehr berichtete (und sich dafür auf interne, bis dato unveröffentlichte Quellen stützte) und im Gefolge dieser Veröffentlichung mehrere Journalisten inklusive des Herausgebers und Chefredakteurs Rudolf Augstein wegen „Landesverrats“ verhaftet wurden. Die Affäre führte zu einer Regierungskrise, bei der die Bundesregierung umgebildet wurde, und war ein Meilenstein für die Pressefreiheit in der Bundesrepublik.
Die Homepage des Films findet sich hier. Die Frankfurter Allgemeine beleuchtet in ihrer aktuellen Ausgabe, wie aktuell der Film eigentlich heute ist. ZEIT und Süddeutsche Zeitung berichten ebenfalls. Vor einigen Tagen lief der Film bereits bei Arte, und das mit überraschend guter Quote.

Sehr empfehlenswert der Film!
Vor allem die präzise Charakterzeichnung der Journalisten (allen voran Augstein) und Strauß hat mir gefallen. Sollte auch noch in der ARD-Mediathek nachzusehen sein, der Film. 🙂
Sehr empfehlenswert würde ich nicht sagen, das ist halt das Mittelmaß, was man beim öff.-rechtl. Rundfunk zur Primetime so erwarten kann. Eindrucksvoll fand ich ja auch das sehr frauenfeindliche Klima in der Redaktion, und der „Lebenswandel“ von Herrn Augstein zeugt auch nicht gerade von sehr viel Achtung dem anderen Geschlecht gegenüber.
