Neue Cafeteria des Studentenwerkes auf dem Steintor-Campus eröffnet am 9. Oktober 2015
Während alle anderen Gebäude auf dem neuen Steintor-Campus der Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg bereits seit Längerem fertig sind, wurde an der neuen Cafeteria bis heute gewerkelt. Morgen um 10:30h öffnet sie dann für die Allgemeinheit (heute durfte man bereits einen kleinen Testbetrieb erleben). Im Angebot sind natürlich Kaffeespezialitäten und gekühlte Getränke, dazu Snacks, belegte Baguettes, Kuchen und anderes mehr. Die Inneneinrichtung ist stark von Holz dominiert und macht einen freundlichen Eindruck. Vor der Tür gibt es mehrere Tische und Bänke mit Blick über den Campus, und das WLAN funktioniert glücklicherweise einwandfrei. Auf der Seite des Studentenwerkes Halle bekommt man einen Eindruck von der neuen Cafeteria, die die Harz-Mensa in Zukunft ergänzen soll. Auch die Mitteldeutsche Zeitung (MZ) hat die Cafeteria bereits entdeckt.
Übrigens: von dort sind es nur wenige Schritte bis zum Institut für Politikwissenschaft.
Update: wir wollen natürlich auch nicht verschweigen, dass vor wenigen Tagen an der Ecke Ludwig-Wucherer-Straße und Emil-Abderhalden-Straße ein weiteres Café eröffnet hat. Details aus der MZ gibt es hier.
