Filmvorführung am 8. Juli 2016: „Mustang“
Am 8. Juli 2016 wird um 18 Uhr im Hörsaal II auf dem Steintorcampus der Film „Mustang“ gezeigt, welcher das Thema Frauenrechte in der Türkei aufgreift. Der Film wurde im Jahre 2015 als französischer Beitrag für einen Oscar als bester fremdsprachiger Film nominiert, außerdem war er für einen Golden Globe Award nominiert. Nach der Filmvorführung wird es die Möglichkeit geben, zum Thema des Films, aber auch zu weiteren Sachverhalten wie der Rolle der Türkei in der Flüchtlingspolitik, ihrer Beziehung zur Europäischen Union und der Armenien-Resolution des Bundestages, mit Arne Lietz, dem Europaabgeordneten für Sachsen-Anhalt, und dem Bundestagsabgeordneten Dr. Christoph Bergner zu diskutieren. Organisiert wird die Veranstaltung von der Hochschulgruppe Vereinte Nationen und dem Studierendenrat der Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg.
