Neuer Think Tank zur EU-Politik: „Polis 180“
Am gestrigen Sonntag gingen erneut in vielen deutschen Städten Menschen auf die Straße, um im Kontext des „Pulse of Europe“ für die Europäische Union und ihre Errungenschaften zu demonstrieren. Parallel dazu beging die EU den 60. Jahrestag der Unterzeichung der Römischen Verträge im Jahre 1957. Damit beging die EU (damals noch: EG) quasi ihren Geburtstag, auch wenn es bereits ab 1951 die Europäische Gemeinschaft für Kohle und Stahl gab. Der Tagesspiegel berichtet heute über einen neuen Think Tank junger Leute, wo es genau um diese Errungenschaften geht. „Polis 180“ ist ein „Grassroots-Thinktank für Außen- und Europapolitik, der parteiübergreifend neue Formen der Teilhabe für junge Leute entwickeln will und zum besten neuen Thinktank 2016 in Deutschland von der Universität Pennsylvania in ihrem internationalen Think-Tank-Index gewählt wurde“.
