MLU: neuer Rektor gesucht
Der Musikpädagoge Prof. Dr. Georg Maas und der Wirtschaftsrechtler Prof. Dr. Christian Tietje sind die beiden Kandidaten bei der Suche der Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg (MLU) nach einem neuen Rektor. Kürzlich haben sich beide mit ihren Ideen und Vorstellungen im Audimax der MLU vorgestellt. Die Highlights gibt es hier nachzulesen (die Städtische Zeitung berichtet hier). Am Mittwoch, 4. Juli, wählt der erweiterte Senat – das sind die 22 Mitglieder des Akademischen Senats und deren Vertreterinnen und Vertreter sowie die Gleichstellungsbeauftragte – den neuen Rektor der größten Hochschule Sachsen-Anhalts. Die Wahl der Prorektoren durch den Senat folgt am 11. Juli. Der neue Rektor übernimmt dann am 1. September 2018 die Amtsgeschäfte vom derzeitigen Rektor Prof. Dr. Udo Sträter.
