Neu erschienen: Heft 346 der IzpB zum Thema „Weimarer Republik“
Gelegentlich wird in der politikwissenschaftlichen Forschung etwas aufgegriffen, was auch in Nachbarfächern, etwa der Geschichtswissenschaft, thematisiert wird. So ein Untersuchungsgegenstand ist die Weimarer Republik einschließlich der einschlägigen Reichsverfassung – nicht zuletzt deshalb, weil im aktuellen politischen System der Bundesrepublik, insbesondere im Grundgesetz, vielfältige „Lehren aus Weimar“ verwirklicht worden sind. Interessant für die politikwissenschaftliche Forschung ist zum Beispiel die Frage, welches politische System in Weimar (ein semi-präsidentielles System? ein parlamentarisches System mit Präsidialdominanz?) verwirklicht worden ist. Aber auch die Frage nach den Gründen für das Scheitern der Weimarer Republik tangiert viele Aspekte, die wir etwa in der Systemtransformationsforschung aufgreifen. In der von der Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung (BpB) herausgegebenen Zeitschrift „Informationen zur politischen Bildung (IzpB)“ ist soeben das Heft 346 mit dem Schwerpunktthema „Weimarer Republik“ erschienen. Hier kann das Heft bestellt werden, eine elektronische Ausgabe folgt erfahrungsgemäß in den nächsten Tagen auf der Webseite der BpB.
