Am Mittwoch, den 30. Juni 2021, zeigt das Erste um 22:50 Uhr die Dokumentation „Schockwellen. Nachrichten aus der Pandemie“ von Volker Heise. Die Sendung montiert unkommentiert Nachrichten, Reportagen, Talkshows und Live-Schaltungen von Anbeginn der Corona-Pandemie aneinander. So entsteht eine Chronik, die die wichtigsten Phasen, Ereignisse und Entscheidungen der Corona-Politik nachzeichnet. Im Fokus steht der Zeitraum Januar 2020 bis heute.
