Klaus von Beyme gestorben
Er war einer der bekanntesten und produktivsten Politikwissenschaftler der Bundesrepublik: Klaus von Beyme. Gestern ist er in Heidelberg gestorben. Mein Eindruck ist, dass es nichts gibt, wozu Klaus von Beyme nichts veröffentlicht hätte, egal ob zum politischen System der Bundesrepublik, zum Parlamentarismus generell, zur politischen Architektur, zu Theorien der Transformation oder politischen Theorien generell. In meinem eigenen Studium bin ich damals bei der erstbesten Gelegenheit nach Heidelberg gefahren, um von Beyme in Vorlesung und Seminar live zu erleben, weil ich überlegte, mein Studium an der dortigen Universität fortzusetzen (es ist dann Potsdam geworden). Von Beyme ist zudem einer der wenigen Politikwissenschaftlker, die eine sehr lesenswerte Autobiografie („Bruchstücke der Erinnerung eines Sozialwissenschaftlers“) veröffentlicht haben.
