„Parlamentarismus in Deutschland“ jetzt günstig bei der BpB erhältlich
Vor einiger Zeit ist das wirklich lesenswerte und umfassende Werk „Parlamentarismus in Deutschland von 1815 bis zur Gegenwart“ erschienen. Herausgegeben wurde es im Namen der Kommission für Geschichte des Parlamentarismus und der politischen Parteien (KGParl) von Andreas Biefang, Dominik Geppert, Marie-Luise Recker und Andreas Wirschung. Darin finden sich eine ganze Reihe von vor allem geschichtswissenschaftlich geprägten Beiträgen rund um den Parlamentarismus in Deutschland in den vergangenen zwei Jahrhunderten, aber auch die eine oder andere politikwissenschaftlich orientierte Perspektive. Neben konkreten Parlamenten in ausgesuchten historischen Etappen wie dem Reichs- und dem Bundestag stehen auch systematische Aspekte im Vergleich im Fokus: Wahlen und Wahlkämpfe etwa oder das Verhältnis von Parlamenten und der Öffentlichkeit. Weitere Beiträge befassen sich mit den Abgeordneten und ihren Lebenswelten, der Frage der möglichen Krise der Repräsentation sowie der politischen Teilhabe von Frauen in Parlamenten.
Seit kurzem ist das (voluminöse) Werk in einer preisgünstigen Ausgabe bei der Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung (BpB) verfügbar. Bestelldetails sowie eine Leseprobe finden sich hier.
