Lektüretipp: „Regierungssysteme“ von Massing/Varwick
Im Wochenschau-Verlag ist vor einigen Jahren ein schmaler Band erschienen, der sich vorzüglich als Einführung in die (Vergleichende) Regierungslehre eignet. Herausgegeben von Peter Massing und Johannes Varwick, widmen sich in diesem Band mehrere Politikwissenschaftler den unterschiedlichsten Facetten des Themas. Jürgen Hartmann beschäftigt sich in einem ersten Kapitel mit den zentralen Begriffen der Vergleichenden Regierungslehre, bevor Werner Patzelt parlamentarische Systeme vorstellt. Simon Koschut erläutert Strukturen, Akteure und Funktionslogik präsidentieller Systeme, Eckhardt Jesse beschreibt den demokratischen Verfassungsstaat der Bundesrepublik Deutschland zwischen konkordanz- und konkurrenzdemokratischen Elementen. Sven Singhofen beleuchtet unter dem Titel „Demokratien mit Adjektiven, hybride Regime oder elektorale Autokratien?“ Herrschaftsformen in der Grauzone zwischen Demokratie und Diktatur. Zum Abschluss richtet Wilhelm Knelangen seinen Blick auf das Regierungssystem der Europäischen Union. Details zum Buch finden sich hier.
