Rettung für „Die Partei“??
Vergeblich hatte der ehemalige TITANIC-Chefredakteur Martin Sonneborn mit seiner PARTEI (Die „Partei für Arbeit, Rechtsstaat, Tierschutz, Elitenförderung und basisdemokratische Initiative“) darauf gehofft, an der diesjährigen Bundestagswahl teilnehmen zu dürfen. Der Bundeswahlausschuss, der über die zur Wahl zugelassenen Parteien entscheidet, hatte der Partei mangelhafte Ernsthaftigkeit unterstellt.
Nun haben die PARTEI-Anhänger wenigstens bei den Wahlbeobachtern der Organisation für Sicherheit und Zusammenarbeit in Europa (OSZE) Gehör gefunden: In ihrem Bericht zur Wahl am 27. September 2009 empfiehlt die OSZE-Delegation eine Reform des deutschen Wahlrechts. Bislang gebe es keine messbaren Voraussetzungen für die Zulassung von Parteien. Zudem sei das aktuelle Verfahren nicht frei von Interessenkonflikten, weil Vertreter der etablierten Parteien in eben jenem Bundeswahlausschuss über Mitbewerber entscheiden müssen, so die OSZE-Beobachter.
