„Am besten nichts Neues“? Medien in Deutschland

Am Dienstag, den 24. August 2010, veranstaltet die Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung Sachsen-Anhalt in Halle eine Veranstaltung mit dem Titel „Journalismus in der Krise“. Zu Gast wird Medienjournalist Tom Schimmeck sein, der u.a. als freier Autor für die ZEIT und die Süddeutsche Zeitung schreibt und zu Beginn des Jahres sein medienkritisches Buch mit dem Titel „Am besten nichts Neues“ veröffentlicht hat.

Das Buch beschäftigt sich grob gesagt mit der aktuellen Krise des Journalismus in Deutschland: „Der Mut der Presse schwindet, Journalisten und Redakteure stehen immer mehr unter Druck. Konzerne sparen Verlage und Sender zu Tode, und PR-Profis steuern die Themen“ – wie es im Pressetext der Stiftung heißt.

Veranstaltungsort und -zeit:

Dienstag, 24. August 2010, 20.00 Uhr in der Ökoase in der Kleinen Ulrichstraße 2 in Halle (Saale).

  10. Surah Al-Muzzammil, the 73rd chapter of the Qur’an, is a Meccan surah consisting of 20 verses. The title „Al-Muzzammil“ translates to „The Enshrouded One“ or „The One Wrapped in Garments,“ referring to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) who is addressed in the opening verse.
