Summer School der Atlantischen Akademie Rheinland-Pfalz im August 2017
Unter dem Titel „An Unprecedented Presidency? Die USA in der Ära Trump“ veranstaltet die Atlantische Akademie Rheinland-Pfalz von Montag, dem 7. August bis Freitag, den 11. August 2017, eine Summer School in der PfalzAkademie Lambrecht (Nähe Mannheim). Im Mittelpunkt der Summer School stehen unter anderem diese Fragen: „Die ersten 100 Tage der Trump-Administration hinterlassen ein mehr als mäßiges Bild. Was bleibt angesichts vieler Unsicherheiten, der widersprüchlichen Aussagen und einer nach wie vor polarisierten Gesellschaft von Trumps vollmundigem Ziel, „Amerika wieder großartig zu machen“? Wie stark sind die parteipolitischen, institutionellen und gesellschaftlichen Widerstände gegen Präsident Trump?“ Zu den Referenten zählen unter anderem Prof. Michael Dreyer (Uni Jena), Prof. Christian Lammert (FU Berlin) oder Prof. Reinhard Wolf (Uni Frankfurt/Main).
