Lektüretipp: „Schattenjahre“ von Christian Lindner
Für gewöhnlich veröffentlichen Politiker Bücher vor der Wahl: um ihren bisherigen Lebensweg nachzuzeichnen oder ihr politisches Programm zu erläutern. Der FDP-Vorsitzende Christian Lindner hat unmittelbar nach der Bundestagswahl 2017 ein Buch namens „Schattenjahre“ publiziert. Genau genommen handelt es sich dabei um drei Bücher: erstens schildert Lindner in diesem Buch, wie er mit vielen Mitstreiterinnen und Mistreitern nach der Niederlage bei der Bundestagswahl 2013 und dem Ausscheiden der Partei aus dem Deutschen Bundestag die Partei neu aufgestellt und sie Ende September 2017 ins Parlament zurückgeführt hat. Zweitens formuliert er in diesem Buch sein Credo liberaler Politik, indem er auf unterschiedlichsten Politikfeldern die einschlägigen Positionen seiner Partei formuliert. Und drittens handelt es sich bei dem Buch um einen tiefen Einblick in das Innenleben der Macht, illustriert mit vielen Beispielen und Anekdoten. Insgesamt ist „Schattenjahre“ ein kurzweiliges und interessant zu lesendes Buch geworden, das über FDP-Wähler oder -Anhänger hinaus alle interessieren dürfte, die sich mit Politik in Deutschland, mit Parteien und Parlamenten sowie mit Wahlen und Wahlkampf befassen möchten.
