Neue Ausgabe 3/2018 der ZParl erschienen
Rechtzeitig zum Beginn des Wintersemesters ist die aktuelle Ausgabe der Zeitschrift für Parlamentsfragen (ZParl) erschienen. Darin findet sich gleich eine ganze Reihe von interessanten und hochaktuellen Artikeln rund um Wahlen, Parteien und Parlamente. So werden zum einen empirische Befunde zu Kleinen und Großen Anfragen im Deutschen Bundestag bzw. in deutschen Landesparlamenten präsentiert sowie zum anderen die Rolle und Bedeutung von Landesgruppen im Bundestag („ein Desiderat der Parlamentarismusforschung“) untersucht. Darüber hinaus werden Bestimmungsfaktoren des Abstimmungsverhaltens in der Unionsfraktion bzgl. der Abstimmung über die „Ehe für alle“ erörtert sowie ein Plädoyer für eine „ent-personalisierte“ Verhältniswahl gegeben. Es folgen eine Untersuchung der Verfahren direkter Demokratie auf Landes- und Bundesebene sowie ein Blick auf Verfahren innerparteilicher Demokratie. Ein weiterer Schwerpunkt widmet sich dem Bundestagswahlkampf von 2017, und hier insbesondere den neuen Medien und sozialen Netzwerken: so wird die (ambivalente) Rolle der Prominenz in ihren „Echokammern“ des Wahlkampfes untersucht, der Einsatz von Twitter im Wahlkampf analysiert („Zwitschern für Stimmen“), und es werden Socialbots in politischen Online-Konversationen thematisiert. Beschlossen wird das Heft mit Besprechungen aktueller Bücher zur amerikanischen Politik unter den Präsidenten Barack Obama und Donald Trump. Nähere Informationen zum Heft finden sich hier. Für Studierende ist die Zeitschrift (vier Hefte mit ca. 800 Seiten jährlich) übrigens als Teil der Mitgliedschaft in der Deutschen Vereinigung für Parlamentsfragen (DVParl) für gerade einmal 25,00 Euro Jahresgebühr zu beziehen (Näheres hier).
