Das BVerfG löscht sich (auf Instagram)
Im August 2021 eröffnete das Bundesverfassungsgericht (BVerfG) in Karlsruhe einen eigenen Instagram-Account. Das warf damals für viele Beobachter Fragen auf: was ist eine angemessene Darstellung eines Obersten Gerichts in sozialen Netzwerken? Was erwarten Nutzerinnen und Nutzer von Verfassungsorganen im Netz (auch der Bundestag tat sich lange Zeit schwer mit seiner Präsenz in social media)? Welche Inhalte können dort von Gerichten abseits des Verweises auf aktuelle Urteile verbreitet werden? Nun, nur fünf Monate später, ist schon wieder Schluss: der Instagram-Kanal des Verfassungsgerichts ist nicht mehr auffindbar. Und Markus Sehl kennt die Hintergründe.
