TV-Tipp: „Angela Merkel – Im Lauf der Zeit“
Der Berliner Autor und Filmemacher Torsten Körner hat vor einigen Monaten pünktlich zu ihrem Ausscheiden aus dem Amt unter dem Titel „Die Kanzlerin am Dönerstand“ ein sehr lesenswertes Buch mit Miniaturen über Bundeskanzlerin Angela Merkel veröffentlich (Details hier). Nun hat Körner einen neunzigminütigen Dokumentarfilm über Merkel gedreht, der am 22. Februar 2022 um 20:15 Uhr auf ARTE und am 27. Februar 2022 um 21:45 Uhr im Ersten gezeigt wird. Online ist er bereits jetzt in der ARTE-Mediathek verfügbar. Einige Monate nach dem Ende Ära Merkel bietet sich mit diesem Film nunmehr die Gelegenheit, jenseits von tageskaktuellen Aufgeregtheiten auf die großen Striche ihrer Kanzlerschaft und ihres Lebens zu schauen. Über die Hintergründe der Dokumentation spricht Körner hier in einem Gespräch mit Stefan Stosch vom Redaktionsnetzwerk Deutschland.
