Ausstellung in Potsdam: „Landesfürst*in. Mensch und Amt“
In der Brandenburgischen Landeszentrale für politische Bildung ist ab sofort eine Ausstellung der Fotokünstler Angelika und Bernd Kohlmeier zu sehen, die über acht Jahre hinweg Ministerpräsidenten und Miisterpräsidentinnen der Bundesrepublik mit ihrer Kamera begleitet haben. Dabei haben sie oft Momente abseits der Aufmerksamkeit einer breiten Öffentlichkeit festgehalten. Bei der Landeszentrale heißt es über die Ausstellung: Die Fotos „zeigen den Alltag und die Arbeit der Berufspolitikerinnen und -politiker an zum Teil skurrilen Orten. Wirkliche Ruhe oder gar eine unbeobachtete Minute sind selten. Das Tempo ist enorm, der Terminkalender oft lange im Voraus gefüllt. Was zwischen Sitzungen, Besichtigungen, Büroalltag und Auswärtsterminen passiert, sehen nur die wenigsten. Eben diese Momente sind auf den 42 Schwarz-Weiß Fotografien der Ausstellung zu sehen. Aufgenommen mit einer analogen Kamera, jedes einzelne Foto von Hand vergrößert.“

Eine ganze Reihe von Studierenden bei uns am Institut kommt ja aus der Potsdamer/Brandenburger Region, so dass sich beim nächsten Stadtbummel in Potsdam womöglich auch ein Besuch bei der dortigen Landeszentrale in der Heinrich-Mann-Allee anbietet. Die Ausstellung endet am 14. Oktober 2022.
