Neuerscheinung: „Machtwechsel“ von Anna Sauerbrey
Am heutigen Montag ist das neue Buch „Machtwechsel“ der ZEIT-Politikredakteurin Anna Sauerbrey (ehem. Chefredaktion des Berliner Tagesspiegels) erschienen. Dabei wendet sie sich nicht, wie der Titel vermuten ließe, einem Regierungswechsel wie etwa im vergangenen Herbst zu, sondern nimmt die (neue) politische Klasse in Deutschland insgesamt ins Visier. Sie beschreibt, wie sich zahlreiche junge Politikerinnen und Politiker daran machen, das Erbe der Ära Merkel zu gestalten. Auf dem Klappentext des Buches wird dessen Inhalt wie folgt umrissen: „Eine neue Generation hat die Bühne betreten, und mit ihr ein neuer Politikertyp: charismatische Politikunternehmer, Individualisten, Dauer-Digitale, Sneaker-Träger. Auf den ersten Blick leger, inhaltlich nicht festgelegt, scheinbar ideologiefrei, strategisch versiert, über Parteigrenzen hinweg befreundet und für ungewöhnliche Bündnisse offen – und doch (oder gerade deswegen) so authentisch, dass ihnen die Wähler vertrauen. Doch was ist das für ein neuer Politikstil, und was bedeutet er für unsere Demokratie?“
