Wiederentdeckt: die „Zeitschrift für Parteienforschung“
Sie zählt (bislang) nicht zu den wichtigsten und wirkmächtigsten (oder bekanntesten) politikwissenschaftlichen Zeitschriften, aber über gleich mehrere interessante Beiträge in der aktuellen Ausgabe habe ich sie (wieder)entdeckt: die „Zeitschrift für Parteienforschung“, die vom Institut für Deutsches und Internationales Parteienrecht und Parteienforschung der Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf herausgegeben wird.
So steht in einem ersten Beitrag der aktuellen Ausgabe 1/2023 das Thema Gender und Parteien in Kommunalwahlkämpfen im Fokus (ein Thema, das gerade erst in der vergangenen Woche auf der Agenda unseres Seminars „Kommunalpolitik“ stand). Darüber hinaus finden sich Artikel zu den US-amerikanischen Zwischenwahlen zum Kongress im November 2022 („Meereskräuseln statt Red Wave“), zur aktuellen Entwicklung des bundesdeutschen Parteiensystems („Vom Zweieinhalb-zum-Sechs-Parteien-System“) sowie zum Instrument der Mitgliederwerbung in Parteien. Andere Beiträge thematisieren die Arbeit der politischen Stiftungen in Deutschland oder etwa die Frage, ob die physische Attraktivität von Kandidierenden einen Einfluss auf deren Nominierungs- bzw. Wahlchancen hat (und wie man das womöglich empirisch messen könnte).
