Dabei werden die einzelnen Etappen der DDR-Geschichte berücksichtigt sowie der inhaltliche Bogen bis in die Gegenwart gespannt. Das Buch ist sicher nicht nur für die Teilnehmenden des aktuellen Seminars „Geschichtspolitik und Erinnerungskultur“ (Aufbaumodul Systemanalyse und Vergleichende Politikwissenschaft) interessant, sondern sicherlich auch für alle, die sich für die deutsch-deutsche Nachkriegsgeschichte sowie die Transformationsprozesse im vereinigten Deutschland interessieren.
