Neue Ausgabe der APuZ zum Thema „Pressefreiheit“ erschienen (Heft 30-32/2016)
Vor wenigen Tagen ist die neue Ausgabe der politikwissenschaftlichen Zeitschrift „Aus Politik und Zeitgeschichte“ erschienen. Hauptgegenstand dieser Ausgabe ist das Thema „Pressefreiheit“. Der Medienjournalist Stefan Niggemeier diskutiert darin zum Beispiel die Rolle des Journalismus heute, der Sozialwissenschaftler Horst Pöttker erläutert Nutzen, Grenzen und Gefährdungen der Pressefreiheit in Deutschland, während die Journalistikprofessorin Marlis Prinzing sich der Pressefreiheit in Europa widmet. Die französische Ökonomieprofessorin Julia Cagé thematisiert unter der Überschrift „Medien, Macht, Demokratie“ die Konsequenzen der Konzentration auf dem Medienmarkt. Susanne Fengler schließlich, Professorin für Journalistik an der TU Dortmund, beschreibt Möglichkeiten der Medienselbstkontrolle im internationalen Vergleich („Twitter statt Presserat?“).
