Ein Ausblick auf das politische Jahr 2010
Das Jahr 2010 hält in politischer Hinsicht eine ganze Reihe von wichtigen Ereignissen, Daten und Terminen bereit. Zentral ist wohl die Landtagswahl in Nordrhein-Westfalen am 9. Mai 2010. Zuvor dürfte innenpolitisch nicht allzu viel passieren – schließlich steht an jenem Tag die Bundesratsmehrheit von Schwarz-Gelb auf dem Spiel. Auf 37 Stimmen kommen CDU/CSU und FDP derzeit, 35 Stimmen sind im Bundesrat nötig, um Gesetze mit einfacher Mehrheit durchzubringen (Enthaltungen gelten im Bundesrat als Nein-Stimmen). Danach könnten wir Schwarz-Gelb 2.0 erleben – falls sich Jürgen Rüttgers als Ministerpräsident behaupten kann und die Regierungskoalition in Berlin ihre zentralen Projekte in Angriff nehmen kann. Sollte Schwarz-Gelb in NRW verlieren, dürfte es (nicht zuletzt im Bundesrat) mehr denn je zu einer inoffiziellen Großen Koalition kommen.
Aber auch sonst bietet das neue Jahr viel: die Afghanistan-Konferenz gleich im Januar, die Weiterverhandlung der Klimakonferenz von Kopenhagen im Frühsommer im Bonn, Obamas Gesundheitsreform im Vermittlungsprozess von Repräsentantenhaus und Senat, die fortwährende Wirtschafts- und Finanzkrise und natürlich die Fußball-Weltmeisterschaft nicht zu vergessen – auf uns (und auch auf den Blog hier) kommt 2010 so einiges zu. Wir bleiben natürlich am Ball.
