Der Bundesrat: Porträt einer Institution
Nach der Landtagswahl könnte der Bundesrat wieder in den Fokus der Öffentlichkeit geraten: nämlich dann, wenn Schwarz-Gelb die Wahl in NRW verlieren und damit auch die knappe Mehrheit im Bundesrat einbüßen sollte.
Der Bundesrat ist eine Institution, wie es sie wohl kein zweites Mal gibt: das „ewige Organ“ wird er genannt; über ein imperatives Mandat verfügt er, das Stimmverhalten wird vor den Sitzungen in der Landesregierung festgelegt; Stimmen können nur en bloc abgegeben werden; in dreistündiger Sitzung schafft der Bundesrat an guten Tagen etwa 100 Tagesordnungspunkte. Today, I went to the beach with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said „You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.“ She put the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely off topic but I had to tell someone!
