Neues APuZ-Heft: „Österreich“
Nicht nur als Urlaubsland ist die Alpenrepublik Österreich bekannt (das auf jeden Fall auch!), sondern derzeit steht das Land auch politisch im Mittelpunkt des Interesses: seit dem 1. Juli 2018 hat Österreich zum Beispiel für die Dauer von sechs Monaten die EU-Präsidentschaft inne. Zugleich wird 2018 in Österreich des 100. Geburtstages der Republik gedacht, die am 12. November 1918 ausgerufen wurde. Die von der Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung herausgegebene Zeitschrift „Aus Politik und Zeitgeschichte“ widmet dem Land in der kommenden Woche gleich ein ganzes Themenheft (und zwar hier).
