Lektüretipp: „Bundesrepublik Kenia?“
Vor einigen Jahren beschrieb der Heidelberger Politikwissenschaftler Manfred G. Schmidt das politische System der Bundesrepublik Deutschland als „informelle Große Koalition“ – unabhängig davon, ob aktuell wirklich eine formale Große Koalition regiert oder nicht. Damit machte er auf die vielen Vetospieler aufmerksam, auf die politische Akteure im politischen Prozess Deutschlands Rücksicht nehmen müssen. Der Journalist Robert Roßmann formuliert in der heutigen Süddeutschen Zeitung anlässlich der aktuell laufenden Regierungsbildungsgespräche in Sachsen und Brandenburg eine ähnliche Idee, nämlich die der „Bundesrepublik Kenia“, heißt: Union und SPD müssen – nicht zuletzt im Bundesrat – auf Bündnis 90/GRÜNE zugehen, um politisch etwas bewerkstelligen zu können (auch wenn man nicht direkt miteinander koaliert). Käme es auf Bundesebene zu gegebener Zeit zu Schwarz-grün, böte sich die Konstellation umgekehrt dar, dann nämlich unter Rückgriff auf die SPD. Roßmanns Kommentar findet sich hier.
