Nach der ersten Runde der OB-Wahl 2019 in Halle
Am vergangenen Sonntag, den 13. Oktober 2019, fand die jüngste Oberbürgermeisterwahl in Halle (Saale) statt. Da kein Kandidat die Marke von 50 Prozent übertroffen hat, kommt es am 27. Oktober 2019 zur Stichwahl zwischen Amtsinhaber Bernd Wiegand (parteilos) und dem gemeinsam von der Linken, der SPD und den Grünen aufgestellten und unterstützten Kandidaten Hendrik Lange. Zwei Aspekte dürften für die Stichwahl entscheidend sein: die Höhe der Wahlbeteiligung (genauer: welcher Kandidat schafft es, seine Unterstützer zu mobilisieren?) sowie die Frage, welchen der beiden Kandidaten die Wählerinnen und Wähler unterstützen werden, die im ersten Wahlgang den von FDP und CDU nominierten Kandidaten Andreas Silbersack unterstützt haben.
