Deutschlands spannendster Wahlkreis: Wahlkreis 61 (Potsdam)
Die Bundestagswahl 2021 wirft bereits ihre langen Schatten voraus: landauf und landab werden in den 299 Wahlkreisen der Republik seit einiger Zeit Kandidierende aufgestellt. Zum „spannendsten Wahlkreis Deutschlands“ haben heute die Potsdamer Neueste Nachrichten den Wahlkreis 61 ausgerufen – bestehend aus Potsdam und einigen umliegenden Gemeinden. Bei der vergangenen Bundestagswahl 2017 hatte Manja Schüle hier das einzige Direktmandat der SPD in Ostdeutschland geholt (inzwischen ist sie als Wissenschaftsministerin in die Brandenburger Landesregierung gewechselt). Für den Gewinn des Wahlkreises genügten Schüle damals 26,1 Prozent, die CDU-Kandidatin Saskia Ludwig (die sich am Wochenende gegen den Potsdamer CDU-Vorsitzenden Götz Friederich durchsetzen konnte), kam auf 24,9 Prozent. Die SPD hat unterdessen ihren Kanzlerkandidaten Olaf Scholz für diesen Wahlkreis nominiert( er wohnt seit geraumer Zeit in Potsdam), Bündnis 90/Die GRÜNEN haben am Samstag mit 100 Prozent der Stimmen ihre Bundesvorsitzende Annalena Baerbock aufgestellt, die 2017 – vor Beginn ihrer bundespolitischen Karriere – auf 8,0 Prozent kam (nicht ausgeschlossen ist im Übrigen, dass auch Baerbock noch zur Kanzlerkandidatin ihrer Partei nominiert wird). Aber es kommt noch mehr Prominenz hinzu: für die FDP wird die frühere Generalsekretärin der Partei, Linda Teuteberg, erneut antreten (für die LINKE der Bundestagsabgeordnete Norbert Müller). Wir werden diesen Wahlkreis – wie so viele andere spannende Wahlkreise auch – in den kommenden Monaten im Auge behalten…
