Chancen und Herausforderungen der Arbeit von Bürgerräten
Seit geraumer Zeit wird in Öffentlichkeit wie Politikwissenschaft über die Arbeit von Bürgerräten diskutiert, selbst in Abschlussarbeiten an unserem Institut waren sie bereits mehrfach Untersuchungsgegenstand. Der Bonner Politikwissenschaftler Frank Decker hat vor einiger Zeit in der Zeitschrift „Neue Gesellschaft/Frankfurter Hefte“ einen umfangen Überblick über die Arbeit von Bürgerräten gegeben (der Artikel ist hier abrufbar).
In den heutigen Ausgaben der Zeitungen des Redaktionsnetzwerk Deutschlands (RND) findet sich eine ganz Seite über die Möglichkeiten, aber auch die Herausforderungen von Bürgerräten (siehe Foto). Leider steht der Artikel hinter der Bezahlschranke. In der in Halle (Saale) erscheinenden Mitteldeutschen Zeitung wäre der Artikel (auch) im Printformat verfügbar.
Passend zu diesen Veröffentlichungen folgt in der kommenden Woche ein Online-Seminar zum Thema: Die Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) blickt am Dienstag, den 27. Juni 2023 von 10:00 bis 11:30 Uhr auf zwei Fallbeispiele von Bürgerräten: Australien und Deutschland. Nähere Informationen zur Veranstaltung (sowie die Möglichkeit zur Anmeldung) finden sich auf dieser Seite.
