Nachdem die (sozial)wissenschaftliche Auseinandersetzung mit der Politik in der Corona-Krise bislang vor allem über Fachzeitschriften und die Tagespresse (sowie über Online-Kanäle) verlief, erscheinen derzeit gleich mehrere Bücher, die sich diesem Untersuchungsgegenstand ausführlich und detailliert zuwenden. So gibt es etwa seit wenigen Tagen bei der Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung (BpB) eine preisgünstige Ausgabe eines Buches, das sich vornehmlich aus verfassungsrechtlicher Perspektive mit der aktuellen Corona-Pandemie befasst: die beiden Staatsrechtler Jens Kersten und Stephan Rixen haben vor einiger Zeit ein Werk mit dem Titel „Der Verfassungsstaat in der Corona-Krise“ herausgebracht, in dem sie auf unterschiedliche Arenen der Pandemie und deren Bearbeitung blicken, so zum Beispiel auf die Regierung (und Verwaltung), auf das Parlament und etwa auf die Rolle der Grundrechte unter Pandemiebedingungen. Auf der Seite der BpB heißt es zum Inhalt des Buches: „Es bleibt ein gesamtgesellschaftlicher Konflikt: Wie können in der Pandemie Beschränkungen von Freiheitsrechten verfassungskonform erlassen und begründet werden?
