Wissenschaftspreis des Deutschen Bundestages 2023 verkündet
Soeben wurde bekannt, dass Oliver Haardt für sein Werk „Bismarcks ewiger Bund. Eine neue Geschichte des deutschen Kaiserreichs“ sowie Mechthild Roos für ihr Buch „The Parliamentary Roots of European Social Policy. Turning Talk into Power“ den diesjährigen Wissenschaftspreis des Deutschen Bundestages erhalten haben. Dies hat eine Jury des Parlamentes entschieden, der auch die frühere Professorin für Regierungslehre und Policyforschung an der Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg, Frau Prof. Suzanne S. Schüttemeyer, angehört, entschieden hat. Details zum Buch von Haardt gibt es hier, ein Rezension des Werkes von Roos durch unsere Kollegin Jana Windwehr findet sich hier. Die entsprechende Pressemitteilung des Deutschen Bundestages ist hier nachzulesen. Der Preis ist mit insgesamt 10.000 Euro dotiert – ein Betrag, den sich die beiden Preisträger teilen werden. Aller Voraussicht nach am 10. Mai 2023 wird die Bundestagspräsidentin Bärbel Bas die Preisverleihung vornehmen.
