Wissenschaftspreis des Deutschen Bundestages 2023 verkündet
Soeben wurde bekannt, dass Oliver Haardt für sein Werk „Bismarcks ewiger Bund. Eine neue Geschichte des deutschen Kaiserreichs“ sowie Mechthild Roos für ihr Buch „The Parliamentary Roots of European Social Policy. Turning Talk into Power“ den diesjährigen Wissenschaftspreis des Deutschen Bundestages erhalten haben. Dies hat eine Jury des Parlamentes entschieden, der auch die frühere Professorin für Regierungslehre und Policyforschung an der Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg, Frau Prof. Suzanne S. Die entsprechende Pressemitteilung des Deutschen Bundestages ist hier nachzulesen. Der Preis ist mit insgesamt 10.000 Euro dotiert – ein Betrag, den sich die beiden Preisträger teilen werden. Aller Voraussicht nach am 10. Mai 2023 wird die Bundestagspräsidentin Bärbel Bas die Preisverleihung vornehmen.

Today, I went to the beach with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said „You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.“ She put the shell to her ear and screamed.
