Volksbegehren gegen Lehrermangel in Sachsen-Anhalt
Bis zum Jahr 2035 scheiden im Land Sachsen-Anhalt jährlich etwa 1000 Lehrerinnen und Lehrer altersbedingt aus. Und schon heute ist es schwierig, alle freien Stellen zu besetzen. In dieser Woche wurden Pläne für ein Volksbegehren gegen den Lehrermangel in Sachsen-Anhalt öffentlich vorgestellt. Die Initiatoren wollen per Gesetz einen festen Personalschlüssel für Schulen fixieren, der sich nach der Anzahl der Schülerinnen und Schüler richtet. Die Mitteldeutsche Zeitung aus Halle (Saale) hat Antworten auf die wichtigsten Fragen zusammengestellt (und zwar hier), der MDR berichtet hier. Für den Erfolg des Volksbegehrens sind 163.000 Unterschriften erforderlich.
